The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, in their infinite wisdom, voted (yesterday) to extend the COVID-19 renter protections for another month, despite previous indications that they would not.
The vote also included a two-month extension of eviction protections for renters who are in breach of their lease for allowing unauthorized occupants or pets into their homes during the pandemic.
